British Dietetic Association (BDA) Continued Professional Development (CPD) endorsement for RPG members
NDR-UK Resource Project Group (RPG) participation has been endorsed by the BDA as a CPD activity. The table below identifies key skills/abilities/knowledge a member will gain through membership of an RPG.

By participating in an RPG, members will: |

- complete a resource specification, detailing all aspects of the target group, their clinical problem, recommendations for dietary management and the learning outcomes |
- communication (verbal and written) skills |

- research and critically appraise the evidence-base of a given topic and other information sources (for existing resources) |

|
- update their knowledge of the given area |
- knowledge improvement |
|
- write a quality patient information diet and nutrition resource in a plain English style |

- use different techniques for patient-testing information |
- research skills |

- review, appraise and reach consensus on feedback received from peers and patients |
