Care Aims

To enable clients and their carers to:

  • Understand their eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties via videos prescribed to their texture modified diet for diagnosed dysphagia
  • Apply the dietary advice required to meet their nutritional and fluid requirements safely.


Learning Outcomes

The Target Group will understand the need for textured diets and fluids as part of management of eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties.

The Target Group will understand what food and fluid consistency has been recommended for them, and how to prepare and eat it safely.
