Hypoglycaemia
A summary to describe what hypoglycaemia is, how to identify and treat 'hypos', and how to prevent them.
Endorsed by the British Dietetic Association.
Advice requires detailed explanation from a Dietitian or other specialist Health Professional with appropriate nutritional knowledge, to enable correct understanding and implementation.
To support people (people with diabetes and people who support them) to identify, treat and prevent hypoglycaemia.
The Target Group will know:
- what a hypo is
- how to identify and treat a hypo
- what the common causes of hypos are and how to reduce the risk of having hypos.
