To provide a structured 800kcal diet for patients to follow for two weeks prior to bariatric surgery - this will reduce glycogen stores and the size of the liver, so that sugery can occur.

Patients will understand why the diet is needed, and how challenging it is to follow.

Patients will know how to plan and prepare daily meal plans to meet with the dietary restrictions.
