Get involved with review projects

Published: 14.05.21

Could you help shape dietary guidance for patients across the UK? Would you like to learn with and from other specialists, to research, write and publish resources valued and used by hundreds of health organisations? Are you seeking opportunities for personal and professional development for yourself or someone in your team? Participating in an NDR-UK project offers all of this.

Over the coming months we plan to start a number of new review projects. These aim to update and improve published resources covering a variety of topics to ensure they continue to meet patients’ needs and complement patient pathways. We are seeking the support of specialist dietitians to join project groups to support evidence-based, consistent practice and avoid duplication across the UK.

What's involved?
NDR-UK development and review projects follow a robust, standardised process.

Each project should take around 3-6 remote meetings. This varies based on the complexity of the topic, resource(s) aims, and the nature of the updates needed.  NDR-UK provides support to facilitate all meetings and project progress.

Project group members must commit to a series of meetings (during office hours), complete agreed tasks and positively work through the process described.  Individuals should bring understanding and experience working in the clinical area of the resource topic and be familiar with the resource(s) to be reviewed.

Get in touch to express interest, stating which project(s) you would like to know more about or volunteer to join.  We look forward to hearing from you!
