The Target Group will:
- Know what gestational diabetes is
- Be able to identify carbohydrates and monitor intake appropriately to manage blood glucose control.
- Understand how to make choices for a healthy diet through regular meals and snacks
- Understand how to safely include physical activity into their daily routine
- Know that they are at an increased risk of developing Type 2 DM and what action to take to minimise this risk following pregnancy
