The patient will have a clean bowel for their procedure.

The patient will feel confident about following the process along with their preparatory medication.

  • The patient will know what the CCE procedure is and why they are having it.
  • The patient will understand what a ‘clean bowel’ is.
  • The patient will understand why they need to temporarily change their dietary intake to achieve a ‘clean bowel’.
  • The patient will understand what and how to include in their intake in the days prior to their endoscopy.
