To support behaviour change for physical health, emotional wellbeing and positive eating behaviours.

To support children and young people to improve their relationship with food and enhance the eating experience.

The TG will:

  • understand that mindful eating is an approach to being fully present while eating, and that this can support weight management.
  • uknow how to become more present when eating.
  • recognise different emotions/motivations that drives their eating and be able to understand and positively manage their responses.
  • be aware of their feelings, thoughts, surroundings and 5 senses when eating, without judgement (emotional, physical, and mechanical responses).

Guidance may not be suitable for everyone e.g. those with an eating disorder.
