To support parents/guardians safely (wean) introduce their baby to solids via a milk and egg free diet.  For babies with suspected or confirmed milk intolerance/milk protein allergy.

The diet will support health and well-being via informed dietary choices.   

The reader will:

  • understand the stages of introducing solids
  • be able to make suitable food/formula choices
  • be able to read food labels to make appropriate food choices
  • know what foods to choose to meet nutrient and energy requirements limit nutritional risks.
